Fight like Sue

Sue has been recovering from multiple extensive surgeries. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometriosis and she had to have extensive internal reconstructive work done and them was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer and had to undergo a complete mastectomy. She has been eager to get back to work, but due to the complexity of the surgeries, she is still not able to fully work behind her torch. She must listen to her doctors and her body and continue to take time off work to focus on physical therapy and healing while her body recovers.

She may not be able to get back to work for a few more months, which has made keeping her business, Sue Regis Glass Art, afloat nearly impossible. Sue Regis Glass Art has been a staple small business in Joliet since 2005 and a huge advocate and supporter of the arts in this community. As an Art leader, Sue's footprint has expanded outside her own business. She is the Co-Founder of The Art Movement Inc, (founded in 2017, non-profit Arts Organization), Chair of the Visual Arts Committee for the Old Joliet Prison Burnt District Artists, Commissioner on the Joliet Arts Commission, a supporter of local artists and businesses, and so much more!

Please consider donating to help Sue keep her business open and manage the mounting medical costs. Let’s show her how much we appreciate her and the kindness she’s shown us throughout the years.

Any amount helps! And if you are unable to give at this time, a share can go a long way!! Thank you so much to everyone who contributes and shares! <3
